eli's first laugh!

So he's had a few giggles before...but, THIS...this is full-fledged laughter!! Guess the water tickled him. I hope every night's bath is this happy.

what a difference some sleep makes!

Turns out he has a lot to say, when he's had enough to sleep. The Sleepeasy Solution is now our bible...it's been nothing short of a miracle how much our nights have changed. Eli goes into his crib awake, falls asleep on his own, and sleeps for 10 hours! And when he's awake, he's a happy, chatty, hand-sucking sweety. Now naps are another story...

sleepless in september

so i'm back at work part time...and not taking as many photos or videos. but there's lots of worthy moments - like this one of his new favorite calisthenic routine - the lefty jig.

eli's 4th month

new moves, sounds, and pounds. over 18 lbs actually! we're still not getting much sleep. but fortunately we are getting lots of smiles...

i can't believe i'm now a blogger. i guess it takes motherhood to bring me out of my cave and into the 21st century.

really, the main reason i created this blog is to post videos, since we already have photos on the picasa site - not to write any eloquent musings on motherhood. you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
